Hi everyone! Last saturday I went to Maasmechelen Village, took a yoga class from Nina De Man, had some great snacks and enjoyed my sporty shopping day. Take a look:
Maasmechelen Village is the place to be if you like shopping, great food and discounts! This shopping destination has over a hundred shops with discounts up to 60 percent, all year round. It’s open every single day which is a big plus for me.
Time for yoga
I got the opportunity to follow a yoga class from Nina De Man, with a great view at Connectera which is the main gateway of the National Park ‘Hoge Kempen‘. We started with some breathing exercises to relax and get into the yoga-flow.
Further we practised more difficult moves where it was challenging to keep the balance. By keeping our core thight, watching our breath and complete utter focus we pushed ourselves into some great poses. All this without hurting ourselves, ’cause that’s key in yoga: Listen to your body!
Yoga isn’t about being flexible, it’s about strengthening your muscles and getting your mind focussed. That’s why we tried out different moves to target different muscles as well.
At the end of the class we stretched it out and layed down on the mat until our body was entirely relaxed again. Such a great experience!
Yay! Time to go shopping! Maasmechelen Village has lots of sport stores so I couldn’t wait to go look for some pretty activewear. I discovered some nice pieces, like leggings with a pocket in the back (need that!) and cute patterns. These were my faves:
While going from store to store, we got spoiled with delicious and healthy tea, live windows and the lovely decoration of Maasmechelen Village. And besides the cute outfits, I fell in love with some beautiful sporty shoes as well!
It was such a great day! Maasmechelen Village has much more to offer than just a luxury outlet shopping experience. It’s the perfect day away combining fashion with the healthy and sporty aspect.
I want to thank Buzzooka, Nina De Man and Maasmechelen Village for this great day! Also a big thanks to Anouk Somers who joined me and took these great pics!
